Pope Francis has appointed Bp. Josep Maria Abella, C.M.F., as a bishop of Fukuoka on 14th April, 2020. The below is a profile of Bp. Abella.

Bishop’s name will be included into Eucharistic Prayer only after an installation ceremony of Bishop. Until then, please continue the current way of reciting Eucharistic Prayer without Bishop’s name. (cf. Pontificale n.1147)
