Cancellation of 2020 St. Monica Feast Day Memorial Ceremony
Dear sisters and brothers in Christ,
We would like to announce that unfortunately, this year’s Memorial Ceremony on St. Monica Feast Day (27 August 2020), organized by Fukuoka Catholic Women Organization has been cancelled as a precaution taken against the global outbreak of the COVID-19.
Meanwhile, we, as Fukuoka Catholic Women Organization, are requesting each parish to offer mass with a intention of eternal rest of souls for those who passed away during the year (from August 2019 to July 2020), including the victim of COVID-19 and this July’s Kyushu Flood.
For the detail (date and time) of mass at each parish, please check with your parish priest.
Thank you very much for your understanding and prayers. We pray for the quick closure of COVID-19 pandemic and for you all to have blessed journey in each place with hope and joy, in spite of many trials.
